Just finished this piece, tentatively titled “1 of 6”. It is the first of six embroideries using a series of silkscreen dyed linen as background. Each silkscreen image shifts subtly in composition, pattern and color density as the run progresses; the embroidery engages with that process as well as it's own process of metamorphosis to create variations on a theme of transitory shifts.
